IMAGERY by air can lend itself to the wildest of visual interpretations (the Dude discovered this during his magic carpet ride in The Big Lebowski).

Few more implausible yet eerily identifiable as the view of Los Angeles from lofty vantage that makes us believe that the traffic we watch flowing – liquid like – through the highways, connectors, on-ramps, boulevards, and side streets are as the pulmonary arteries of a sentient being.

That’s the magic of “Los Angeles At Night”. The film’s a reminder that we as people, doing are thing, going to and fro in our autos, are what make and, yes, drive a city.

And for all the steel, concrete, and asphalt,  LA is made wholly organic.
