For my money the best chase scene is still the one in ‘The French Connection’.

To Nick 740. Just for the record,- In “The Transporter” Frank describes the car as a BMW 735i (E38). But the real car in the movie it was 750i, and in fact the only one E38 750i ever produced with a manual six-speed gearbox.

I was mostly talking about more common cars than the Veyron. Not supercars. Also good French manufacturer is Venturi.

Very nice chase with the beautifull e38 indeed Nick, but don’t you forget the french bugatti? or is the veyron too german to call it a french car?

Why German cars always beat French brands ? Renault, Peugeot and Citroen can’t build “real” engines. Biggest one the Peugeot 407 was, if my memory’s correct, a V6 3.0L. Citroen makes good cars, but with weak engines. Other French brands = sh*t IMO. And I’m French ;o)
Anyways, other great chase is the pursuit in “The Transporter”, with the 735i E38 in Nice.
