I appreciate those thoughts, “GM”. There’s some merit – the Pontiac name has been brought through the mud for years and the nameplate was never meant to compete with the likes of Cadillac, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, or Rolls-Royce.

But this one car has special merit. It’s kind of like how the Robb Report included the Subaru WRX on its list of must haves a few years back. The same is true for Pontiac’s G8 GT.

But as for the missing Bentleys and Rollses – I’ll have words from wheel time with the Bentley Continental GTC and the Porsche Boxster in a little while.
