It does seem that BMW has lost its muse, with each new model and up date of an existing one, the brand is increasingly irrelevant. Interestingly this seems to be a problem across the German auto industry, as Mercedes and Volkswagen are suffering from similar overreach. Its ironic to consider that the automakers that seem to have the greatest focus at this time are Ford, PSA and Hyundai/Kia. To my eye this abomination has more in common with the X6 than the 5GT.
