		<description>I&#039;m quite fascinated by this picture. First of all, it&#039;s kind of weird to see the modern 190 and the w123 side by side leaving the factory. Their design format is so similar with rectangular headlights, a v shape bulge in the hood and a large chrome grill. But some how they look a decade apart.

Also look at how some of the cars lack passenger side mirrors.

If you haven&#039;t already, you should check out the work of Andreas Gursky who documented Mercedes assemebly lines in the 1990s.
