  1. I’m quite fascinated by this picture. First of all, it’s kind of weird to see the modern 190 and the w123 side by side leaving the factory. Their design format is so similar with rectangular headlights, a v shape bulge in the hood and a large chrome grill. But some how they look a decade apart.

    Also look at how some of the cars lack passenger side mirrors.

    If you haven’t already, you should check out the work of Andreas Gursky who documented Mercedes assemebly lines in the 1990s.
