They minimized the grille to include lower air intakes. What they should've done was said screw the lower intakes and just have put the emphasis on the grille. But they didn't. The back suffers from the same phenomenon as the 5 - it's too narrow and high, and those chrome stripes down the window don't help here either. And then of course they ruined the beautiful Shanghai CS nose with nostrils set too high and made too large. Not impressed. Here in this town there are quite a number of them on the streets already.
