Sigh, now I’ll go through several days of 911 lust, prowling e-bay and hemmings and considering. The early 80′s 911s were among the first cars who began to recover performance and meet the emissions standards, while not hanging all sorts of pumps and fume recycling gear. Better yet they were light. 2700#, not far from a Miata.

Great work, lads. I’ve been looking forward to this since you posted the engine noise a few days ago. Any video coming along?

I’ve been looking at these more and more since my favourite little brand got put in ICU. They’re still very expensive here in Oz, though, with a half-decent one running you around $30K. Call it an investment.
