An absolute pleasure reading your review of this beautiful Silver Shadow! What a machine! What a car! I felt as if I was driving it myself! The 1st generation is divine but in particular I love the MARKII with the “Silver Shadow II” badge gleaming on the rear. Thank you again John, I’m jealous! Hope soon to own one (or more) of these wonderful cars myself.

One often skims and hurries through post, but you had my rapt attention from the start. I was along for the ride!

Of particular interest were the subtle excentricities and the exceptional attention to detail – from the hush of the engine to the twist of the e-brake.

A car as fine as this is a testament to extraordinary engineering, esthetics and craftsmenship…well done, John.
